Lured In Fishing Charters LLC is a licensed and insured Lake Erie fishing charter based in Port Clinton, Ohio, offering guided trips on one of the most productive freshwater fisheries in the country. This charter is built around decades of local knowledge and a genuine love for time on the water. Captain Jack Hartley has been fishing Lake Erie his entire life. His experience dates back to the early 1990s, long before running his own charter operation. Years of hands-on work, learning seasonal patterns, weather shifts, and fish movement have shaped the way he guides today. After working charters and spending six summers running his own commercial guiding operation, Captain Jack created a service that focuses on quality time, clear instruction, and a comfortable day on the lake. Trips typically run for 7 hours and target Walleye and Yellow Perch depending on the season and current conditions. Peak Walleye fishing usually takes place from May through July, while Yellow Perch trips are strongest from September through November. Fishing is done aboard a 27-foot Sportcraft offshore fishing boat powered by a 320 HP 6.2L MerCruiser inboard engine. The vessel is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, and radio electronics, along with a portable toilet and ice box for added comfort. The boat safely accommodates up to six anglers, making it a solid option for families, small groups, and anglers new to Lake Erie. All rods, reels, terminal tackle, live bait, and lures are provided. Guests simply need to bring a valid Ohio fishing license, along with snacks and drinks for the day. Kids are welcome aboard, and keeping your catch is allowed in accordance with local regulations. What sets Captain Jack apart is his approach. These trips aren’t rushed or numbers-driven. The focus is on creating a relaxed, enjoyable experience where guests feel welcome, informed, and involved. Many of his most memorable days come from meeting new anglers, sharing stories, and helping people build confidence on the water. Whether you’re planning a family outing, a group trip, or your first guided experience on Lake Erie, Lured In Fishing Charters LLC offers a dependable, down-to-earth way to fish out of Port Clinton with a captain who truly knows the lake.
